Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most advanced robot to date is the Roomba j7+. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste many other robots are unable to avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so you can tell it to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas that you don't would like. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.
The design is also more appealing than the other models. It has an elegant, top piece that looks like an toy, not an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System is also self-emptying which will reduce your cleaning time.
In our tests the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust, dirt and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering all over the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a little grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it can't clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they can be expensive at retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock makes several of our top robotic vacuums , and the Q5+ is no exception. disappoint. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. While it may not come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great option for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few misses in corners and along walls.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock, which was designed specifically to make this robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is simple. It also comes with a large LCD display which is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people, but it's one that will aid in keeping the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and functionality are some of the top available however it's expensive.
The base station is attractive and hides it when not in use, and the size is quite compact. But the station's main selling factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot clean and charged.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It's the only robovac that I've used that has done well at picking up the dust from floors with no. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding.
Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts in the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price tag.
If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive however it comes with more features, such as stairs and a fully-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.
4. Eufy RoboVac g30
Eufy, a Anker company, has a track record of creating robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping functions at an affordable price. It's simple to set up, just snap on one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be placed near an outlet with enough space to move.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle compared to some rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The primary characteristic that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and is more effective on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It comes with a larger dust bin that does not require more emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 however is less expensive and much simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and it has less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
